Months that Begin with "J"
I just don't feel like weaving in those particular months, January, June, and July. January is understandable because it follows December, a potentially busy weaving month. June is not quite so understandable, other than it's the beginning of summer and maybe I'm busy doing other things. July is very understandable... it's hot.

- The Federal Trade Commission cautions "Most [network marketers] end up with nothing to show for their money except the expensive products or marketing materials they're pressured to buy."
- The nonprofit Consumer Awareness Institute analyzed available data published by the MLM companies themselves. Of the companies surveyed, they reported the least successful was Amway/Quixtar where 99.99% of distributors lose money, and the most successful was Herbalife, where 99.42% of distributors lose money.
- They also surveyed 200 tax preparers in three counties in Idaho and Utah, where 6% of residents are active network marketing participants. From over 300,000 tax returns, not a single one reported significant profits from network marketing activities.
- In a Wisconsin lawsuit, the tax returns of the top 200 of 20,000 network marketing participants were examined by the Attorney General. The average income of this top 1% was -$900.
- Newsweek found that fewer than 1% of MonaVie distributors ever qualified for any commission at all, and less than 1 in 1,000 recovered the cost of their required monthly purchases.
DWP Agents purchase for $195 one time a comprehensive and ongoing merchant card industry training package as well as website, interface and marketing tools -- and pay NOTHING else ever!************
Agents are assisted in acquiring merchant accounts for our processors and receive residual income from those accounts.
The 56% paid from each account monthly is shared by a set-level structure.
In companies like those above, the distributor is the customer. In DWP, Agents get customers.
DWP Agents market a necessity, not a commodity.
Average income of a full-time independent agent nationwide (not DWP) is $180,000.
The ecosystem for credit- and debit-card processing involves a complicated set of players interacting to process every transaction. Five types of players are involved: acquirers/processors, issuers, card networks, gateway providers, and independent sales organizations (ISOs). That's us!
To process a typical transaction, three steps must occur: authorizing, batching, and funding. Each participant in this process takes a fee off of the total volume of a transaction. The remainder is deposited in a merchant's account.
Three trends will shape the payment-card-processing ecosystem from 2015 onward: the EMV security migration, rapid development of new payment technologies, and the massive card-fraud problem in the US.
The mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) is going to have a massive impact on the payments-hardware and payments-software industry. By 2019, we forecast that nearly 80% of US retailers will have implemented a mPOS device.****************

Hi Barb, I know I've missed out on soooo much! I joined Merchant Guard last year under Jerry M. but wasn't ready to leave my main job to pursue the business with Merchant Guard. I would like to re-enter the credit card business with Digital World Pay. I've recently opened an office in Long Beach and I would like to start again. What should I do first? I'm available when you are! Thanks, TomOne of DWP's great strengths is that, once an Agent, always an Agent. There have been a multitude of tweaks, improvements and additions to our program -- including a name change from Merchant Guard to Digital World Pay -- but all Tom needs to get caught up is his password that opens his interface with all the up-to-the-minute training, flyers and info!

So Sean shrugs, goes over to the lady behind the counter and introduces himself as a credit card processing Agent. "Would it be possible for me to see if I could save you some money on your processing fees?"

However the church that we met with knows better than to deal with him-- they said he never checks anything out and gets stuck every year. They did $50,000 in 10 days on their booth last year and they don't want to pay a penny more than necessary to process all the credit and debit cards. So we were happy that the church that we met with actually paid attention to the contract and paid attention to what we explained to them about the business. We're getting them a great rate and they'll be happy with their new terminal and the swipers.
************BY THE WAY, the pastor above who had signed the very questionable fireworks contract responded to a postcard in the mail... so he trusted a COMPLETE STRANGER who is taking him to the cleaners

Q: How do I get access to your excellent phone support?
A: We love helping our agents and in doing so we have provided a number of online classes to help get you started. Many of your questions will be answered through the video classes. Once you have completed ten classes, feel free to contact our Agent Support at 219-472-9588 ext. 702.
Q: Why must I take ten training classes before I can get access to your excellent phone support?A: We know you'll eventually take all the classes because you'd be silly not to, but we do understand that you want to start adding merchants right away. If your answer is not found in those classes and you're with a potential client, be assured we can't wait to help you!

The rules of the game have changed for anyone involved in law, medicine, healthcare, sales, computers, small business and countless other fields. Corporate downsizing means a smaller number of people preduce greater volumes of work in shorter periods of time with fewer resources -- and upper level corporate life is all about supply and demand. The daily reality is people competing for positions in the corporate world has become a game of musical chairs and everybody knows their music can stop at any moment -- so what can they do to be prepared for those times?
"North American Bancard helped me streamline the equipment I was previously using, and overall, made the system much quicker and more efficient. It’s easier for me to keep track of things, as I can now oversee transactions at all of my twelve locations in real time. Plus, I saved over $900 in bank card fees in the first month, compared to my previous supplier. Dealing with NAB was really terrific. I am very happy I made the switch, and my staff reports they are saving a lot of time.
I would wholeheartedly recommend North American Bancard services to anyone who needs credit card processing."
