it's a great business

Greetings!   It's a great day to be sharing Merchant Guard with Everybody.   Just ask Chan Krohn.... he can't keep up with all the activities he has going on...getting his new agents up and running, getting their businesses going...keeping up with all the merchants he met at the mall who are interested in MG.... This is a great business to be involved in!!

We are on our way to Santa Cruz right now to see Sean and  Justin and some others;  Rick Andersen  training tonight in San Diego  and of course Mr Nice Guy in Milpitas...

Heard from Mike Orozco in Hawaii who has a couple of merchants he's working with and 3 Agents!  Mike called right before we left.

If there's not a lot going on where you are, that is your cue! Get out your match box and Start a MG fire today.

More later. ...

No suits, no ties, NO LIES

BURNING UP THE ROAD!

Mike and I are headed to Milpitas for the CRAZY Thor's Day Night intro/training session featuring Top Agents Chan Krohn and Benjamin Ng, and guests tonight include Marlyn Ano (just submitted a PayAnywhere terminal on BIG monthly revenue restaurant -- their current processing fee was around $3k/month and Marlyn cut that by a   lot), and Mike Orozco from Hawaii, looking to see how MG is done on the mainland -- plus lots of guests.

WISH YOU WERE HERE.

Along the way we have an appointment with Agent Leslie Juenke -- it will be good to catch up with her.

**********

John Daniels should have another 'big news story' addition around the end of February -- KEEP BUILDING YOUR MG PORTFOLIO.

Why?

Think about it:  if you find a merchant who is paying $3,000 in fees monthly, and he signs with you and pays $2000 in fees -- good for him!  He's a happy client and you get 20% of the applicable fees every month... that's $ to you always for saving someone money on a service they have to have!

You don't need to target large merchants:  just set out to save everyone money -- after just a few months in this business we've seen that small things lead to big things.

And you can't judge a book by looking at the cover:  a hole-in-wall little market/station here in Fresno got an Agent their partial statement.  They are paying $500 processing.....DAILY!

How would you like 20% of $500 every day for every month?!  That would be $100 every day.

*************

I'm throwing out these numbers because they are real, they exist in YOUR town, YOUR village, and currently some slick, fast-talking salesman is collecting those fees and scalping your local merchants while you struggle to pay your bills and pay the higher fees that the local merchant has to charge to cover his exorbitant processing fees!

It's a cycle that you can reverse to flow your way:
  1. save the merchant on his fees
  2. receive income for your family
  3. help your community.

GET OUT YOUR ATTITUDE AND POLISH IT UP!

Remind your local merchants:

with a Merchant Guard Agent, there's no suits, no ties, and NO LIES!

Jobs did a pretty good sales job:  by giving people an awesome product with great value and quality and delivering what he promised.... not by dressing fancy!

MG and Beast Feast

Top Agents Wayne and Angelia Harrington expect to pick up 7 statements this week from work (contacts) last week!!

Must be something in the food -- this from Wayne Sunday:

Hey Mike and Barbara
Take a look at the church  on this Sunday after  The Beast Feast was Friday.   Over 900 attendees  -- 124 came to Christ. Today was Camouflage Day. You should have seen  it. This is a great  picture but doesn't do it justice. Grand prize give away was a boat next was a golf cart.  Awesome
Wayne

900 there -- men only.  But ladies could wear camouflage on Sunday.
Did we mention this was Georgia?

If this sounds like your kind of church check them out on facebook here.

***************

Hope you got your Monday training on cost plus from Avita... one thing for sure:  the training MG provides is generous.  But knowing it all doesn't make you $$:  submitting apps does!

***************

Great wisdom from Lety:  be sure to listen. One jewel:

"I tell the merchant he must be happy with his current processor.  He usually says: Noooo.  Why do you say that?  Lety says: Well, you are paying them."

Check out the interview for great tips from a great Agent.  Follow directions to fast fwd., pause, etc.

No Cal MG on fire this week:  see events at right.  Also looking forward to seeing Hawaii Agent Mike Orozco in Bay Area... LOTS GOING ON!

NUFF SAID! And Wayne said it....

Awesome first MG Weekly Wrap-up call last night!  There were 16 of us on the call, ranging from Heavenly Hawaii ( Mike Orozco and Chris Contreras) to Wisconsin, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, Georgia and California!!  WOW.  Now THAT'S a spread.

MG Agents Wayne and Angelia Harrington did a great job of sharing how they have transitioned from clueless consumers to MERCHANT ADVOCATES in just a couple of short weeks.  Their merchant stories -- from the first one their first week as Agents to the last one on Friday at noon -- show what a great benefit MG is to merchants.

Their top tip for working with merchants:  when you get one active, BE SURE THEY CALL IN TO THEIR EPI SERVICE NUMBER.  Finding out they have real life support available to them 24/7/365 gets 'em every time.

Their top tip for Agents:  just contact merchants and don't worry about making mistakes.  They say they've made several (wrong apps, for example) but everything can be corrected.  They mailed out some of the tri-fold brochures that we all have and 5 of their merchants came from there!  (so guess who's mailing today!)

 ************

Here's some more from Wayne (continued from Saturday blog):

Now let’s talk equipmen.   Since I was in the heavy construction business each piece of equipment  cost from $90k to $320k. In my particular case about $2.5 million invested in equipment. Now for the small equipment needed, trucks, trailers, tools, Nextel ,engineering tools, and many others. This estimated to be an additional $250k.   OK time to talk about employees. Office personnel, Engineer, estimator, mechanic, several operators and drivers plus a supervisor.
Somewhere down the line comes a CPA, and an Attorney. Next is capitol to operate until the payday starts and capital to purchase the materials and fuel needed to perform the job usually runs around $150k. Capitol needed for payroll for a minimum of 90 days.

FOLKS!  Listen, all this must be in place before a project can be bid. Once the contract is complete the headaches really start.  Worrying, stress, deadlines, inspections, collection, breakdowns, conflicts, employees, inflation, thefts and many more…Estimated profit margin 5 to 7 %.
The point of all this is most people don’t have a clue what it takes to start and maintain a new business. Let’s compare for a short second.
MERCHANT GUARD IS A $195.OO OUTLAY  AND THAT COVERS TUITION.   YOU ARE NOW IN BUSINESS WITH NO EMPLOYEES, NO EQUIPMENT, NO BOSSES, NO DEADLINES, NO CAPITAL,AND ALL THE OTHER EXPENSES THAT ARE REQUIRED BY “NORMAL” BUSINESSES.
INSTEAD OF HAVING SLEEPLESS NIGHTS YOU CAN NOW GO TO BED WITH THE THOUGHTS THAT SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE IS SWIPING A CARD THAT PAYS YOU WHILE YOU ARE SLEEPING.
YOU ARE COMPLETEDLY SUPPORTED BY A STRONG , SOUND AND ESTABLISHED COMPANY. Believe me, there is no comparison…………………
Thanks,
Wayne Harrington

YOU HOLD THE HIGH CARDS: play 'em!

FIRST RESIDUAL CHECK has arrived to the account of the FIRST MERCHANT-GETTER  and we are very surprised/happy to hear how much it was for just 1/2 a month on a small rural merchant.  YA  HOOO!

******************

You hold the high cards in talking to merchants:

"We can cut your processing bill or we'll pay you $500."

"Nobody should waste money on phony fees and high rates."

"Next day funding...24/7 in-house LIVE customer support."

  "FREE terminal!  No contract."

  "I'M YOUR CUSTOMER."

******************

Ask Rick Andersen who's NOT AFRAID to play the "I'm your customer" card!
