Because we frequently get questions about Digital World merchants and 'are they happy?', today the blog features a picture of the very first merchant that a DW Agent signed, waaay back in 2015. That was Agent Angelia Harrington (l) and she is with her friend at a small M___Grill in south Georgia. The ladies are pointing at the Visa/MC/Amex logo that they affixed to the register because the Grill was CASH ONLY until Angelia spoke the truth about the benefits of taking non-cash payments to the Grill owner.
Angie basically said: "Try it: you'll like it." "And if you don't, I'll come pick it up and send it back-- no harm, no foul."
Guess what: the Grill DOUBLED their revenue the first month they went live with card processing, and TRIPLED the month after.
THE COMP PLAN IN ACTION:
Angelia is an Agent that Mike and I personally sponsored.
The M_____Grill is her personal merchant account, so the Grill is on our Level 1 (5%) and Angie's personal level (20%).
I just checked my residual statement in the interface for April, 2017 and, sure enough (sho nuff), we got paid a commission on the processing of M___Grill. Again. Just like every month since she plugged in her DW terminal and began letting her customers pay for their burgers with credit, debit or other non-cash ways! This happy merchant is one of hundreds and hundreds across the US who call DW home.
But remember:
WHEN A DW AGENT SIGNS A MERCHANT ON TO DW PROCESSING, that Agent is in a fiduciary capacity with that merchant, and confidentiality is of PRIMARY IMPORTANCE. We do not give out names of merchants, nor in any way compromise their privacy or do anything that might interfere with their business operation.
But trust us when we say, Digital World has many happy merchants, just like Angelia's busy cook above!
