Here's a little motivational tip of the day  (thank you, Time Magazine).

To get some merchant statements, you know you just need to go share your MG flyer with biz card with some local merchants.  And you think that's a great idea and sounds simple and do-able... even sounds like fun.  

But you're the type of person who requires emotion to trigger motivation.  Here's the tip:

So treat yourself whenever you complete something on your to-do list. (Yes, this is how you train a dog but it will work for you too.)

Having trouble finding a reward awesome enough to get you off your butt? Try a “commitment device” instead:

Give your friend $100. If you get a task done by 5PM, you get your $100 back. If you don’t complete it, you lose the $100.

Your to-do list just got very emotional.

I'll SAY!!  Give your teenager that $100 to hold in escrow so you'll stop by 5 merchants before 5pm and watch your residual grow!

WOO HOO!  Go Team!
